ChowTrack (“we,” “our,” “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile and web applications (the “App”). We collect only the minimum data needed to provide the service. We do not sell your data. Our revenue comes solely from subscriptions.

Personal Information

• Email address (for account creation and login)
• Authentication data from Google, Apple, or email
• Optional phone number
• Timezone and theme preference

Health & Fitness Data

• Meals and nutrition logs (including calories and macronutrients)
• Weight history
• Body fat percentage history (if you log it)
• Macro goal profile (age, sex, height, activity level, diet preference, targets)

Technical Information

• Device/app diagnostics such as error, crash, and performance logs

Communications

• Support or contact messages you send to us

Optional Access

• Microphone access for speech-to-text logging (only if you enable it)
• Local file storage to support data exports you request

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App
• Calculate nutrition goals and track progress
• Process subscriptions and payments (via app stores or Stripe for web)
• Respond to support requests
• Monitor performance and fix bugs

We do not sell or share your health data with advertisers.

We may share information with service providers that help operate the App (e.g., Google, Apple, Stripe) and as required by law. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Your account data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time to permanently remove your personal and health data (subject to limited legal retention requirements). Diagnostic logs may be retained for a limited period for security and performance.

We use encryption in transit and at rest and other safeguards appropriate to the risk. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

ChowTrack is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App or via email. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Policy.
